Levels of Analysis

Survey Level. (1/2-2 Days)

  • The system is analyzed for apparent leaks, pressure drops, storage and drains
  • The compressors are evaluated for type and size, suitability and capacity
  • Maintenance procedures are analyzed
  • Written report of findings and proposed solutions is submitted

Study Level. (2-5 Days)

  • Along with identifying the problems of the walk-through evaluation, readings are taken at appropriate locations to identify the system dynamics
  • A pressure profile and demand profile are developed to aid in identifying the problem areas
  • Again maintenance procedures and training are reviewed
  • Written report of findings and proposed solutions is submitted

Audit Level. (3-10 days)

  • Data logging of pressure readings throughout the system is conducted for a more in-depth analysis
  • Again maintenance procedures and training are reviewed
  • A baseline is established against which the proposed changes are measured. The goal is a proper alignment of supply and demand for optimum energy savings, efficiency and reliability.
  • A comprehensive written report of a findings and recommendations is submitted.
